While we as estate planners often try to educate our clients with fictitious facts from ordinary people (sometimes not so fictitious) to explain why certain steps should be taken when planning, it is certainly more interesting to read about the estate planning of the rich and famous.

One would tend to believe people with money would not be so uninformed or foolish when preparing for their own demise. But such is not the case in many instances. No matter, when someone else is experiencing such a hard life lesson, we seem to relish the voyeurism.
